It is not safe to flush most disposable wipes down the toilet. Why is this?

Even wipes that say “flushable” on the package can still cause these problems. Fixing clogs can be messy and cost a lot of money.

The best rule? Always throw all used wipes in the trash can. Only toilet paper should ever be flushed down the toilet.
