Before putting on the PPE, perform hand hygiene. Use the alcohol gel wash the hands first.
Take off your jewellery, watches and rings.
Check and make sure all the PPE you’re going to wear is clean and undamaged. Also make sure it is your size.
Put on the disposable surgical gown, making sure it is tied securely at the back.
put on the disposable surgical mask, if tied, make sure securely tied at crown and nape of neck.
put on the eye sheild if there’s a risk of splashing.
wash your hands again then put on the gloves.
