- Before putting on the PPE, perform hand hygiene. Use the alcohol gel wash the hands first.
- Take off your jewellery, watches and rings.
- Check and make sure all the PPE you’re going to wear is clean and undamaged. Also make sure it is your size.
- Put on the disposable surgical gown, making sure it is tied securely at the back.
- put on the disposable surgical mask, if tied, make sure securely tied at crown and nape of neck.
- put on the eye sheild if there’s a risk of splashing.
- wash your hands again then put on the gloves.
